A World for Us- Ch. 1 P. 4 (Chapter 1 Finale)

I quickly ran down the stairs in effort to stop Vanessa from hitting Zachary again. It didn't help that Zach got hurt easily, either.. Ha, I remember the one day she knocked him out. Didn't think it was possible for V to hurt anybody until that day.. I quickly opened the door without hesitation and grabbed V by the wrist to stop her from hitting Zachary again. Zach sighed. "Thanks, Autumn." He said, checking his arms and face for bruises. As far as I could tell, he didn't have any. I looked away from him, now turning my full attention to Vanessa.

As soon as I did that, she tried her best to give me her most innocent smile. That won't work on me this time, Vanessa. "Vanessa.." I sighed. "What happened this time?" I asked with my usual 'bored' face. I don't try to look bored, it's just the way my face naturally looks. "Well, he was making fun of me because I've never had a boyfriend before!" She complained... Really? That's why she was hitting him? I didn't say anything, instead I just face-palmed. I made the most serious face I could, which wasn't that hard. "V, we're not even in high school yet, and you're already thinking about dating?" "Well, why not? Zachary has already had, like, 50 girlfriends!" ... okay, so that may have been true, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make! I didn't really care at this point, so I just dragged them both inside.

"Tyler! I thought you were going to get the door!" I yelled. i listened to my voice echo throughout the house as I waited for a response. Not too much later, Tyler came down the staircase holding something in his hands. "Well I was going to, but then I got hungry.." He said, showing me the purple thing he was holding. Really? He didn't answer the door because he wanted a bag of Takis? How Tyler of him.. "Whatever, man.." I mumbled, and began my way past him to climb up to my room. "C'mon, let's go to my room." I said, already on the last step. "Can you help me take ut the trash, Zach? There's way too much for just a family of four." Tyler asked. It's not going to make much of a difference, Tyler's already stronger than Zach.. Oh well. He was right, though. There was a lot of trash.. At least it's his job and not mine. Zach shrugged. "Sure." He said, walking back down the stairs . Okay, so it's just me and Vanessa for now.. Fun. "We'', don't just stand there! Let's go!" She demanded, pushing me up the last few steps and practically dragging me to my room. Ferg, she's bossy.. I love it... Wait, what?

"It's about time! Where have you two been?!" Vanessa yelled slightly. "Oh, you know. Went to Starbucks, got some coffee." Zachary smiled, showing V and I his half empty cup. "I want some coffee.." I said quietly. "Actually, I got you some, sis!" Tyler cheered, handing me another cup- that I didn't notice he had. I smelled it for a second.. Good, he didn't poison it. "Oh, so you got her coffee, but you didn't get me any?!" Vanessa whined. "Uh, V? You can have mine.." I said, handing her the cup. "Really? Thanks, Autumn.." "Oh, no problem." I know she liked coffee more than I do, anyway.. Just as she was about to take a drink, Zachary stood, smacked the coffee out of her hand, and yelled "Nope!". After that, it seemed like everything suddenly went into slow motion. I observed what was going on for a second. Okay, so Zach was laughing, V was about to smack him, Tyler was face-palming, and the coffee was flying towards me.. Oh, kaint! The portal! Then, everything went into full speed again. I slowly looked up.. Surely enough, the portal was open. I have a lot of explaining to do to Vanessa and Zachary..
